Club #2

There were two of us tonight as we ventured out for a first visit to another club here in Toledo.  We took the bags that were donated by some awesome ladies, who love what we do (pictures below). They had candles, nail files, nail polish, mints, chocolate, a bookmark, chapstick and some other stuff in them.

This club had a special significance for me. It was my club. And this was the first time that I have ventured back in, in well over 10 years. The club looked completely different inside but my club all the same.  Even after multiple renovations, there was something that still felt like home.  In fact, one of our conversations tonight with one of the girls was that she’s been to every club and has returned to this club because it’s home. It’s where she started. It’s where it all began for her. In that moment, I could so
connect with her on that feeling. I knew exactly what she meant. But for me, tonight, there was something so powerful and amazing to be returning “home” on God’s terms. It is almost impossible to explain.

God is so faithful to The Free2BMe Project.  The doors opened to us with open arms.  Hugs were exchanged with 12 girls and even a manager!  It is so incredible to carry a message of love, such an honor to be considered worthy by the God of the universe to deliver such an important message, because God knows how incredibly unworthy we are to be able to speak words of grace and love over the lives of these women.  I am so in awe of the grace and love that has flowed to me through the years and continues to do so today.

There are prayer requests.  One Dancer’s 13 year old daughter was in an accident recently. She’s healing, but could definitely use our prayers for a complete healing.  Pray that the relationship with this club blossoms.  The Free2BMe Project believes 100% that the love of God transcends all boundaries.  Pray blessings over the employees and their families, especially this Christmas season!
