You are Never Alone

Hello Friend,

This summer I have gone through some of the hardest things in my life—the death of several young friends, the loss of a family home and heirlooms and I witnessed the end to many lifelong dreams.  I have to tell you though that through it all—I was never alone.  I have found the words of the Lady Antebellum song to be so true and relevant, as if Jesus himself were whispering them in my ear. I thought I would share them with you.  You are loved, you are treasured and you are not alone.
I have been where you are, I have lived the life of a dancer. And I know it is not easy.  The Free2BMe Project exists to rally around women employed in the adult entertainment industry. We are here for you when you need a shoulder cry on, a friend to listen to you, and someone to laugh with.  We want to journey through life with you and let you know that you are not alone.  If ever you just need a friend, call or email, we are here to listen and encourage you.

Much love,

The Free2BMe Project

On August 28, The Free2BMe Project partnered with our friends to raise money for AIDS Resource Center Ohio.  We joined the Sex Workers for Choice Team and walked in the Northwest Ohio AIDS Walk. Together our team raised over $1600 to help fight the battle.

HIV/AIDS is a very real issue for the women we journey with.  One in four newly diagnosed patients are women! Women under 25 make up the fastest growing population of those being diagnosed with AIDS.

It is very important for The Free2BMe Project to be active not only in journeying with women in the sex industry through their daily lives, but to stand alongside them in combatting issues that impact their lives, like AIDS/HIV, as well as human sex trafficking.

We had a beautiful day for the walk! Together we walked 3.1 miles (5K) on the bank of the Maumee River at International Park.  The day made for great conversations! We were honored to be invited and to be able to walk beside these wonderful women!
